I will never forget seeing “North to Alaska” as my first movie at the 4th avenue theater .what a splendid venue to see that new releases movie!

It is sad that I cannot find any inside color pictures of the 4th Ave Theater. After the fact years later, I wonder why I never took any. I have many wonderful memories of that place.

Mike: Nice piece re the 4th Ave Theatre. As a kid growing up in Anchorage I have many fond memories but the Muni seems lost regarding what to do with it. Now I see that it is going down which is sad but likely inevitable. See: https://bit.ly/3NwLADU
